Our Project Coordinator, Tara, has recently joined the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) as an Entry Level Member and here’s what she has to say about it!

 

“I am thrilled to have joined ABPCO and I am particularly excited to have the opportunity to network and gain support from association meeting professions who are further advanced in their careers. 

It is an honor to be a part of the ABPCO community and I look forward to getting involved and meeting fellow ABPCO members in the near future at events”.

 

At Brightelm we believe it is important our staff belong to a membership organisation for a number of reasons which include:

  • Providing a sense of commonality and camaraderie from other members
  • A “safe space” in which to discuss operational and potentially delicate matters
  • Opportunities to network amongst other organisers and specialist suppliers
  • Opportunities for specialist continued professional education

We are really excited for Tara and look forward to seeing her continue to develop!
